About The Service

The Manistique Housing Commission (MHC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.

To apply, visit the MHC to pick up an application, located at 400 E Lakeshore Drive, Manistique, Michigan, 49854, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, ET, Monday-Friday.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.

Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, and photo IDs for all adult household members.

The MHC does not have a preference.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the application is received.
