Lynchburg Community Action Group offers a variety of programs and services to those in need within the community. They provide some assistance through their Emergency Assistance Program.

This program offers financial assistance when funding allows to help those facing interruption of utility service or eviction . Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements to receive assistance.

Applicants must provide all requested documentation which includes those such as income verification for all household members, if employed your last 2 current pay-stubs. Your landlord must be the legal owner of your residence and be able to provide proof to show ownership. Applicants must provide eviction notification or shut off notice. Applicants must apply during service hours to be screened for eligibility for assistance.
