Community Action Program for Central Arkansas can provide up to $300 assistance for the first month or past due rent for income eligible applicants.

Persons applying for assistance must call 501-358-8653 between the hours of 8 am and 10 am on the first business day of the month.  Calls will not be accepted once funds are depleted for the month.

Requirements:

Applicants must be at or below the 125% Federal Poverty guidelines    Must have not received rental assistance during the previous 12 months    Must not have an open warrant for arrest    Must provide lease agreement Hotel Stay assistance can provide 3 night motel stay for eligible applicants who are homeless or without shelter, when funds are available.
