The Wilson Housing Authority (WHA) Public Housing waiting list for 3, 4, and 5-Bedroom apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least February, 2021, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

• Forrest Road Homes-502 Parkview St.
• Whitfield Homes-633 E. Walnut St.
• E.B. Jordan Homes- 1800-H Fountain Dr.
• WHA Admin office- 301 E. Nash St.

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to one of the locations noted above.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Involuntary Displacement
• Veteran/Homeless
• Working Family
  Defined as being self-employed, working an average of 20 hours or more a week for at least 11 months, or being seasonally employed for 2 years with the current employer and working 20 hours a week or more). Includes persons 62 years or older.
